Here are the minimum and recommended requirements for running Dystlab software.

Operating system

Microsoft Windows

Dystlab software is primarily designed to run on Microsoft Windows:

  • Windows 11 and higher — recommended;
  • Windows 10 and lower — allowed, but you may need to install additional components (built into the installer).

Apple macOs

On macOS 12.0 and later, you can run the software through the Parallels Desktop emulator.

Linux

Normal functioning of Dystlab software on the Linux operating system (Wine) is not guaranteed.

Monitor, memory, processor

  • screen resolution: recommended 1920x1080 pixels and higher; minimum 1366x768 pixels;
  • RAM: 8 GB and above is recommended; minimum 1 GB;
  • Hard drive (HDD/SSD): 500 MB and above recommended; minimum 100 MB;
  • processor frequency (CPU): 3.0 GHz and higher is recommended; minimum 1.0 GHz.

Browser and Internet access

Internet access is required and is used for user web authorization, web content downloads, communication with neural networks, and other functions.

The browser is an integral part of the Dystlab software. It functions based on the Microsoft Edge WebView2 component. This component is present in Windows 10 and higher operating systems. If it is not present on your system, you can install it manually: download and run Evergreen Bootstrapper (see this page for more options). If WebView2 is not found during startup, the program will use a browser based on Internet Explorer (considered obsolete).

Additional components for programs

TechEditor

Spellchecker components and other TechEditor plugins and extensions can be downloaded from the TechEditor & Extensions section.

CAEERO

A powerful graphics card is recommended for efficient operation of Dystlab CAEERO software.
